Hi Daz,
Jasper was amazing, snow conditions were fab (powder in places), and they just had a few good dumps of snow. Don't know about Bamff, but Jasper very chilled out and the people really friendly. Be prepared for a 40 minute bus journey everyday to get to the mountain, and the buses arn't frequent enough really....but thats my only gripe. Fab boarding hol. Take glasses and goggles. Just in case, but I wore goggles the whole fourtnight, if it snows you'll need them. Went to Andorra last year and loved it but it's not in the same league. In Jasper somedays it felt like you were the only ones on the slope. It gets busy on the weekends with the locals, but you were still never queing. Night life good as well, as long as you know where to go. Just ask the locals. Hope this has been of some use...give me a shout if you want to know anything else... Jo ) |
