Try Banff. Sunshine village is usually open until the twenty-something of May. Keep an eye on the conditions though as the open terrain can vary hugely depending on the conditions. They have had decent snowfalls this year though, so the spring skiing will be good.

Although these were lottery funds. It's hard to support pseudo public funds being spent on skiing and snowboarding in the current economy.

In 2008/2009 there were approximately 1.2 Million people who take annual ski holidays in the UK*

The elite skiers and boarders, in association with their sponsors should set up a lottery with the prize of a sponsored heli-skiing trip with the athletes. This would probably raise far more than the 600k they previously got from the national-lottery.

The Ski Helmet Debate

As far as I can see, ski/board helmets protect only the wearer. So why would you want to impose them on somebody who chooses not to?

P.S. I wear one.
Lolo64, you have definitely found yourself in the right place at the right time . On the website, I can see over 50 cm's fresh over the weekend !
Hope you enjoy the all the fresh snow.
Have just spent a week in Golden/Kicking Horse.

The resort has great conditions at the moment with regular dumps of fresh snow. They seem to be a month ahead in snowfall this season. It is dumping heavily on Golden and Revelstoke right now with the Rogers pass closed for avalanches as of this morning.
Nicely done! I hope they ski well.
