How many lessons have you had on your local dry slope? You probably won't need a huge resort with hundreds of KM's of slopes. Smaller resorts are generally cheaper. |

No problems with the certification, but some problems at shop level with getting them set up correctly for users. He's walked out of his a few times. This may have led to the popular myth. My mate had his reset to his Garmonts 3 times (that I know of). They also have a mimimum weight rec. of 130lbs. |

Wickers, I had no idea you'd tasted the delights of Scottish skiing :D Mutton Pie and Beans at the Ptarmigan Cafe? Can't agree with you on avoiding Chamonix. The place is so big it's easy to avoid the crowds once you are up a hill. Just ski differently :D |
