Merry Xmas to all j2skiers from alpe d'huez!!!

I can now confirm that crystals 15kg ski bag policy is being enforced.
The guy in front of me weighed in at 25kg and was charged £40 extra.
Mine weighed in at 16 and was let through. Both of us were told the limit is now 15kg. But it seems they use common sense as mine was only just over.

The airline is Thomson.

I think raising your voice with a stern look will work in most situations despite language barriers.

In this case it i think it refers to the Auris link which descends into a gorge quite steeply before going up the other side.

There is also another famous Scare chair at val d'isere.

Yes it was. And to make it worse it was a bloody slow lift with narrow seats and dawdled agonizingly over roads, car parks and other sharp terrain.....I still have chills thinking about it now.

Just wanted to say that i have my ski bag packed and standing by the backdoor......it will be leaving the house and 6am sharp tomorrow.
