Ski Bindings New & Old

Thanks Ally and Swingbeep, Those German sites, Swingbeep, are just what I was hopeful of finding in the UK. They have a good stock of Head/Tyrolia bindings. I also found your post very useful and I have taken on board that I may have to part with a bit more cash to obtain the right binding. I have noticed that the SL range 2010/2011 have a diagonal release but I will still have to check the Delta angles. How are you finding the Freeflex Pro 14's in general?

Information much appreciated :D

Phantoms, I should be so lucky  I am looking for a cost effective binding to fit a 13 SLR carve plate. Cost effective being the word. Research has indicated that the plate is compatible with the Following Bindings from the Tyrolia/Head stable:
Free Flex Pro 11, 15, 17, 18
Peak 18 X, 15, 12, 11
LD 12
SL 70 AC, SL 100, SL 110 Carve ABS
SP 130 ABS Demo Aero
SP 120 ABS, 100 ABS, 90 ABS, 75 ABS

I am just trying to find the best value for an Inter/advanced skier 5'11" 12.5 stone who likes recreational carving.

Hi Alistair,
Well, at least it will give you something to do whilst you're waiting for the start of the next European ski season

Best of luck with the skip/charity shop/carboot sale search :D

I'm sure you're already keeping an eye on eBay :D

Ally

Oh yes, you can read my mind Ally, Ebay is within my ever expanding remit.

Dixie, You may also want to take a small diamond file and gummie stone to de-burr your edges. On my last two trips I have taken these and some rub on wax and cork it into the base. Result = Better performance.

 Dave, I hold you personally responsible for leading me astray. I was almost content until you offered wonderous stories of finding not only skis but bindings at the end of the rainbow. Life will simply not be the same from this day forward. Now, you've got my order, I think you should target the better skips around the Arlberg. There will be a drink in it for you

I'm looking in the wrong skips and in the less lucrative areas. :(
