We drove from Oz en Oisans yesterday to Val and it took us 17.5 hours!!!! All of the information for searching for shelter was not available to those on the road so totally useless. The only Gendarme we saw all day/night was at the start of the climb to Val.

We were there this weekend and watched the GS, the sloapes were in very good condition everywhere else but the OK and Orange were closed ready for this weekends womans downhill.

We are returning to ADH in Feb for our 4th time. Cant wait.

We are currently staying in Le Laisinant and until today piste L was closed, this morning on the lift up it looked like thay had dressed it to open for the first time. The Mattis was very polished yesterday but guessing the snow will have helped. the snow was fantastic this morning upon the piste.

My wife has a pair of Rossinnol's which have one in black and one in white both with completely different graphics on each one. She always has the White one on the right foot!
