I never look at the graphics on my hired skis. I am hopelessly unobservant
I have to ask the shop to stick a label with my name on it, on my skis, or I'd never be able to find them amongst the heaps of skis outside the mountain restaurants. And when I'm ski-ing I'm definitely not looking at my skis :D However - to answer your question Snapzzz, as far as I know I've never hired skis with left and right graphics. |

Hi Felthorpe,
Well done for starting a new thread about the 2014 holiday :D I think we should keep this 2013 thread going because there are still things we need to sort out, and there are several spare rooms at the moment in the chalet for J2Ski latecomers :D As far as I know Bonjour will be putting the surplus rooms back on the market on Wednesday 2nd May. But I have no idea how long it will be before they're all booked by other guests. |

Snapzzz - did you think my SurveyMonkey was a good idea, or would you rather we tried to pick a date and a resort for the 2014 group J2Ski holiday some other way?
The only criticism I have for that survey is that it was anonymous. I would like to find another one where people have to put down their names. It's all very difficult because we all have different preferences. I mean, if I'm picking a holiday for myself I usually go for the cheapest accommodation I can find in a resort with a large well connected ski area. And I don't care much what it looks like. What surprised me most about the results of the survey I did was that people picked the more expensive accommodation price band  Which was why I chose such a lovely chalet in Tignes. I could have found one much cheaper, but not nearly so nice. |

It's not God we have to worry about on this thread - it's Admin
I sincerely hope that whatever I've posted is suitable for a 13 year old to read :D |

Me apparently  I seem to have a very large stock of it. How much would you like? |

That's a real shame Snowy0000
I hope they're well insured and they can re-build it. |

Whilst you have been playing about in the shower today, Andy, I have been very busy.
I have been dealing with the after-effects of someone hacking into AOL itself (or so I believe because I know of 3 simultaneous attacks) and compromising my e-mail account. When I got back home from my very nice mini-ski holiday on Thursday evening I had 140 e-mails, mostly because of this. Some very nasty person, or persons, managed to get hold of my computer address book and e-mail everyone on it with a pretend e-mail address that looked exactly like mine. And in these e-mails was an ad for viagra plus possibly some sort of virus, like a trojan, although I'm not too sure about this. Fortunately most people realized it wasn't from me and deleted it or their security system detected it and automatically sent it back. Even poor Admin got one from 'me' So I think you'd better shove over a bit further on the naughty step Icy  Apparently it's called 'spoofing'. These e-mails really came from somewhere in Poland, not from my computer, which is well protected and absolutely fine. Anyway - I think I have fixed the problem now, and I do think it's very interesting that it seems that it was AOL that was hacked, not me, although of course they're not admitting it  So - I have had to e-mail and telephone my friends and family and explain and apologize about this. All very embarassing  |
