Hmmmm, maybe i am missing something but it has never occurred to me to take alcohol on to the mountain but i know plenty do for those little warmers.
I tend to take bottles of water or coke and after a stiff run i am gulping it down. I do like the idea of a hip flask though, there is something quite romantic about a nip of the hard stuff whilst out in the mountains. |

If you take the first picture, how do the pisteurs deal with that and re open the run?
Do they just pack it down? Or shift it else where? Some of those runs have rock cliffs either side and i can imagine it being a stiff task to dig it out. Can those snow cannons be removed for safety ? |

Only a month ago we were all anxious that the season was going to be in danger of being a non starter and now every day there are reports of too much snow.
Avalanches Delays Lifts closed I feel lucky that i managed to bag myself probably the best week away so far but am desperate to book another, i'd just hate it to be a wash out. For example: Just over a week ago i was skiing this run
