thanks very much....same for verbier? would it be worth it to hop over there for a day and night, perhaps? we just want to see more while we are there...and although I see and hear that Zermatt/cervinia is pretty massive, just wondered if we should take the time to see other areas...tx again!

greetings

we hired a guide last year that was fantastic at both taking us all over the resort (which as you know is massive), including off pisted, but also was a very knowledgeable ski instructor

it was expensive but awesome, for more info, post a note and I will get it to you, John

has anyone skiied at La Clusaz in France?

we have booked a trip there in Feb 2008 in hopes of escaping the crowds and prices at some of the bigger resorts

i'm trying to get some feedback on the skiing and the town. I hear there is some great off piste skiing there, let me know, thanks, John

we've decided to try Megeve and La Clusaz this winter, instead of going to the big name big money resorts. Does anyone have any info on these ski areas? I believe neither one is known for its steep/tough stuff but i heard la Clusaz has some great off piste - can anyone provide more info? tx in advance!!
