Amanda,I really like the Turquoise blue jacket :thumbup:

I am noticing lots of Spyder being worn up at sunpeaks (alot of the tourists I think,nice jackets though). I wear Columbia,not so overpriced..still looks great.

I laughed ,I was at the ski shop at the mountain..saw a cute ski jacket (spyder)..thought "hey I really like this"....than I looked at the price...$924 canadian.....I thought hell no! :shock: :lol: Hubby would have a heartattack!

Yes, home is near Halifax,N.S. :D

And yes, we think it's scenic -- the land of the Bluenose and Peggy's Cove not to mention the setting for the 2011 Canada Winter Games. The local hills have been given $$$millions$$$ for upgrades --- snow making gear and groomers etc...

BC is even more scenic! Friends visited Sun Peaks last spring for 13 straight ski days! They were told, as they were made honorary resort guides, that no one has skied so much at one stretch as they did. Now these friends are in Zermatt for a couple of weeks.

Hi Mike,One day we are going to go to N.S ,I would love to see it in the summer,looks so pretty! thats cool about the winter games,I didnt know that it was going to be there in 2011.

We went up to the peaks yesterday,it was so gorgeous...powder everywhere..mix of sun and snow falling! Lots of Americans because of presidents week..but we stayed at the top of the mountain where it wasnt so busy....sigh... wish I was rich, I would buy a place to stay up there!...maybe if I win the 649 loto :lol:

We skied today. Tomorrow (the 14th) we are going over to friends for a special b-day dinner party.

Oh my god I had the best day skiing :D...so much powder! It snowed all day!
Without sounding like bragging :oops:We took my nephew ...he's an Alberta boy who ski's the rockies but had never skied at Sunpeaks...anyway he told me today that this was the best powder that he has ever skied on.. and than he told us that that was his favorite ski mountain ! It was very cute,hes a darn good skier for a 13 year old . He wants me to take him back on Sunday....(now I really cant get a hangover ha ha ha )

Anyway you all should come out this way and try our champagne powder!

Well after a couple glasses of wine and a tylenol..the knee is hanging in....aching and limping..but oh so worth it! I felt a bit insecure in the powder today..had to force myself to be more aggressive. Just cant wait till it is fixed!
