Oh God, I can't take this kind of pressure Tony - I will leave you on the list then, to ease the pressure, and you can make up your mind at a later date :D I'm surprised no-one's suggested the 3 Valleys yet. I think I will add it to the list. Most of the places/ski areas that have been suggested so far are in France. Has anyone got any favourites in Italy, Switzerland, or Austria that might be suitable for the group? We may have beginners (like we have for the Jan 2013 trip) so ski resorts need to be suitable for all levels of skier/boarder. |

Tony - if you're quite sure you definitely don't want to come with us in 2014 I will take you off the list.

That was very clever of you
I couldn't even manage that on a gentle slope outside a cafe - when I tried it I skidded off and landed flat on my face (luckily without hurting myself or anyone else) |

Here are the places suggested so far for 2014: Snapzzz - Zermatt, Sella Ronda, Les Portes du Soleil Crispyapplepie - Morzine, St Anton, Alpe d'Huez Daved - Milky Way, La Plagne (Montchavin and Champery), La Clusaz, Verchaix/Grand Massif Old Boarder - Les Deux Alpes Dids - Samoens/Grand Massif Andyhull - chalet The Lodge in Val d'Isere with Skiworld (around £700-£750 all inclusive except ski hire, January prices) Tony H - Niederau Any more places/ski areas anyone would like us to consider? Would anyone else like to go on the list of those potentially interested for 2014? |

Bandit,
You're quite right, I have been off-piste with an instructor, but only really down the side of a piste, or between 2 pistes. I should have said I am too cautious to go off-piste without an instructor. I thought the itinerary routes were avalanche controlled? I'm pretty sure they are in Tignes - the ones that are basically ungroomed (but patrolled) black pistes. |

That looks horribly steep
How on earth did you get down from there :?: |
