Would love to ski in Canada but I couldn't deal with the flight time for a week's holiday. We do have vague ideas about a 3 week trip across the pond at some point with maybe 10 to 12 days skiing and a week of sightseeing. However, other than Christmas it's very tricky taking a big block of time off from our business.......maybe one day!

I think it's pretty clear. If you not on the piste, you are off piste in the eyes of an insurer. The Ski Club of GB insurance covers for off piste, as does Dogtag. I've haven't researched any others. It's critical to read the small print in any insurance policy....

I'm an avid reader of the Daily Mash. Great stuff. It's a response to some ridiculous sensationalist rubbish in the Daily Mail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3404104/Passed-snow-carried-home-friends-boozy-Brits-drag-chic-French-ski-resort-gutter-Locals-blame-noisy-rowdy-behaviour-Val-d-Isere-Magaluf-ice.html |
