Just got back from St Anton & Lech last night.
We had lots of snow and rain on Friday which made the lower mountain icy, but up top we had fresh tracks and found plenty pow, some very deep as it collected in some of the chutes!!!! It is only the very bottom slopes that are without, so the #2 Kandahar is good if you want to do laps on th Zammermoose chair, or down Rautz #17 A lot more snow seems to be coming this week according to the forecast. I am in Munich now and have noticed the temperature dropping considerably today so looking good. Kerri - if Mayrhofen doesn't get enough, Hintertux is at the head of the valley and beinga glacier you will have something for sure. We were there last month and not only did we have the glacier's reliability, we got half a metre in a couple of days. Pray for more snow! |
