I will look at the small print and see what can be done.

If you are out of contract call 150 and choose the option "thinking of leaving" they WILL look after you.

Do you have running water yet Ian? Or do you still have to nip to the well in the morning?
Far Queue wrote:With all due respect Snapzzz, I get offers along those lines about twice a month posted through my letterbox.

I get really annoyed that they cannot even be bothered to check who already has their service before offering blanket deals which current subscribers cannot take advantage of.

Whilst not exactly the same, I have in front of me at the moment a "deal" offering over 175 channels plus catch up tv and hd, 30mb broadband plus the phone service for £44.50 with the first 3 months free. That is on a blank through the door flyer.

Then I get an addressed to me letter, telling me my bill is going to "have" to increase by £3.50 a month to just short of £80. Guess why I am not happy!

All offers are available to existing customers if you are out of your current contract. If you are then give them a call.....its there for the taking.
Read the small print though as the quoted price is often without the line rental currently at about £13 per month.
It will mean you taking out a new contract for 18 months i beleive.

There are also new bundles coming out at the end of the month as most packages are being re structured due to the broadband speed upgrades

Deals like this, just pee off existing customers, it's enough to make me look at switching to the dreaded competition.

Well i am not sure i get that.
The deal is not widely available to anyone or new customers.....its just a special offer that i can offer to friends and family. Many companies do this.

Is Virgin any closer to a service that isn't reliant on cables Snapzz?

Nope, never will be.
Thats why we can do stuff like TV on demand and offer 100meg broadband. Having had the joys of cable broadband for many years i can honestly say i would not live anywhere that could be connected.
Guys and Girls,

For my day job i work for Virgin Media and as such i am able to offer a very special deal to all my friends.
What do you get?

Virgin TV

TiVo 500Gb box
160 digital TV channels including Music Video on Demand
Plus, an additional set top box for another room

Virgin Broadband

Up to 30Mb fibre optic broadband
Backup and store precious files. Print 50 free photos a month.

Virgin Phone

Completely unlimited calls to UK landlines, 24/7.

All for just £41.01 a month (usually £74.96)

You can be a new or existing customer but if you are an existing customer you cannot already have all three services. You must be taking a new service.

New customers get totally free installation.
Existing customers pay £49 for installation

You obviously must live in a cabled area.

If you would like to take up this offer just PM me.

The latest must have for the cold

What a couple of miserable old sods ....... do something different for a change and buy a red rose

My husband and I are both really mean. If we bought flowers and cards for each other he'd be annoyed because he'd be thinking it was money wasted that could have gone on his new tractor fund and I'd be thinking the money could have gone towards my next ski holiday

I do know what he does like on Valentine's though, and fortunately it doesn't cost anything ...

Ally

Tractor fund?
