No checks on hand luggage but ski bag weighed.
Ski bags can be 15kg but mine was 16kg, she just looked at me and waved me on.

Funny that as it was on my 'possible' list for new year.
Who is it on here that has the apartment? Tropicana?
Gloves/Lining Gloves

I have never felt the cold until this year and i looked at glove liners. In the end i decided against them as they really bulked out my gloves as you suggest.
Next year if they feel the cold again i am going to buy some mittens, they say they are warmer as all you fingers are in one pocket.
I don't have enough experience of enough resorts to really offer a worthwhile opinion but if it were me then it would be a secluded cabin in Zermatt with stunning views of the Matterhorn.

Your certainly right with the Dare2be's but I have never paid over £30 for Sallos and always found them to be good quality, the lastest success is a pair of Five seasons sallo's, excellent budget buy and good quality ..... you don't have to spend big bucks for quality.

I brought a surfanic ski jacket recently for £47 excellent quality and a bargain

I am currently sitting paitently for all the prices to fall so i can stock up for next year. There are some great jackets out there but at stupid prices, i don't mind paying a bit extra for something i really like but i don't want to be fleeced.

Buy cheap, Buy twice.
