My Excel sheet is counting days, not sleeps! I know Excel is very clever but it can't know in advance whether or not you're going to sleep on the Eurostar night train. I know I couldn't when I went in the cheap seats - I ended up sleeping lying on the floor in the buffet car all night. So after that we went 'premium economy' I think it's called - so we had more leg room and reclining seats with head rests and bigger seats.

I've added you but I think maybe I should have said 90 days and the 19th January, because otherwise it looks like you are arriving in Meribel on Friday 18th.

I seem to remember you said you were going out on the Friday night train to arrive on Saturday morning.

I know I say 'going to' on the list, but I really mean the day you arrive.

I've added your corrections in to the previous page, as an edit.

This is the latest attempt to stop an Excel sheet from going all wobbly when I paste it up on here. Far Queue has fixed the problem with something called concatenation - to combine the required data into one column on the sheet, whilst still allowing Excel to calculate the date/number of days.

If you want to be on this list would you please say where and when you are going and how many sleeps you reckon it is (unless you are a secret agent in which case you can just give me the date!). Excel will let me know if there's a discrepancy, but perhaps some people will be missing out on a night of sleep, so my list will just say how many days before they go.

Unless I get 50,000 J2skiers all posting up on here I will try and list you all.

Tony H - you'll have to give me a date and a location for me to add you. You may well have said where and when you're going at some point in this thread, but I can't remember!

I've put the recently added J2Skiers in bold.

I've copied it straight off the Excel sheet, so if there are any mistakes please let me know. I find Excel is very good when I do it right, but a slight wobble with the mouse can be disastrous!

I've added you now. Once I'm sure this is working OK all people need to do is put the date they're going because the Excel sheet will work out the number of days for me.

And I suppose if a mistake does crop up and anyone notices it I can always correct it.
