Photo coming down the Creux Noir, Courchevel (or at least I think that's what it's called). We went off piste and then came back on to the piste.

I liked the Orelle Valley as well - especially that red run where we practised carving in our lesson and it's got a straight bit where we had a schuss dare test, but sorry I haven't got the piste map on me right now and I can't remember what it's called.
I had an e-mail from Meribel Alpina about their improvements, which included something about a new group lift pass for 3 people or more which is 15 euros cheaper per person than the normal one.
Thanks for those lovely photos Andyhull :D

That's exactly what we want - a huge load of snow just before we get there, or possibly overnight, and then beautiful sunshine all the time we're ski-ing.

Has anyone got a photo of the mountain restaurant OldAndy was talking about - up the top of the Tichot chair above Val Claret? It seems to be called 'The Palet' but I can't find anything about it.

It's next to the ski tranquille area on the Palet, so maybe even the beginners in our group could get up there for lunch, if they got the free ski bus to Val Claret.

It's OK Nelly, I don't mind doing it. And I'm sure my computer teacher would be most impressed. Far Queue's Excel gizmo is way beyond what we were doing in class

Ha! I knew we'd have at least one Secret Agent/member of the Royal Family on J2Ski. I never would have guessed it was Stewart Dowling though

I've updated the list for today, so that you can see we've all got one less day/sleep to wait before we get on the snow :D

Far Queue's very clever Excel gizmo seems to be working perfectly
