yes, you usually get good signals for phones. Walkie Talkies are good though and they don't cost a fortune to use.

Awwww - bless your wee cotton socks. Know exactly how it feels. It is sooooooooo depressing. I am with Snow4bandit. This season, I have done exactly the same, and I am having 3 ski trips and no summer holidays. My kids are all grown up now though, so can do whatever I please! Your turn will come :D
