True of them being good sticks - although I almost started crying when I scratched them a little.. It went straight to my heart! haha.
Bringing the average age down? Can never be too old to start learning new things! :D

Thanks for the compliment there Ian.. Just determination I guess, can't let it put you off.
Speaking of which, I had a bad accident almost 3 months ago now - I went off a pretty big kicker and it threw me high up and landed on an air bag ski's down (as you're meant to do).. but the air bag itself was about 10 feet high and I done a flip (because of the momentum of landing, my ski's had stuck to the surface of the air bag) and I landed on my head on hard snow.. Was paralised for a good while, taken to hospital and treated for a broken spine - Turns out I'd severly damaged the muscle in my pelvis and in the bottom of the spine - L4 section or something they said.
So for a years skiing I already have a little story to tell people - was very lucky to walk again though :!:
hehehehe   :D I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you. Welcome to the forums
Knee injuries and information

Lol I went back out skiing today. My knee got fixed on the 23rd of Dec.

After I had some drugs with a side of schnapps I was walking around the night I had it done. I attacked my bike the next day. 5 days after that I was back at my job (on restricted duties) working at my ski resort, and now I'm skiing. Hopefully I can start running on it again soon. Just wish the pesky drill holes would go away.

Great traveling advice! I would love to get out there this year. Are they pretty fair on their lift costs?
I have three complete panoramic pictures of Hintertux. A 09' Tirol calender, an Austrian and German flag on my walls.

Admin. Alaska is another world. I was lucky enough to "kidnap" my parents and take them on a cruise up there. It's one of those places yo have to see before you kick the bucket. If you do, you must travel into the Inside Passage.
Salzburg I hope
