Hi - I've added you now. Excel reckons it's only 33 days to 13th December :D Edit Oh - new page now. The list of J2Skiers off ski-ing/boarding in 2012/13 is now on the previous page. If anyone else wants me to put them on the list would they please say so, and include the date and destination of their holiday, and Excel will work out the number of sleeps/days and constantly update it. |

I usually start in a snow-plough, before I believe I really can remember how to ski - it seems safer somehow :lol:
Plus - I hire my skis so they're always different from the last pair I had, and it sometimes takes me a few hours to get used to them. |

Hi Baillie353, when we went to Val Thorens I found a cheap apartment through the Val Thorens TO (as Far Queue suggested).
It was with the estate agent Val Thorens Immobilier and it was in the La Roche Blanche apartment block. It was a bit run down, but handy by the piste, and it suited us OK. There were also a couple of ski instructors on the same floor as us so I should think it's one of the cheapest places in VT. But I wouldn't leave your skis in the storage lockers in case they get nicked (unless the place has improved since we were there, about 4 years ago.) |
