Look the the crick in those necks, at least a good buff will help to hide the mobile induced double chin syndrome.

Is all getting a bit sad really! What is wrong with speaking to the person next to you on the lift?

So anyone booked their first trip yet?

Greenland in May :-) flights and Guide booked.
I would be tempted to keep them if I were you vs. lose money. You might need to rent for a few trips but they are the sort of piste ski which will be good for the next 10yrs. They should be a perfect ski to progress carving on and in my experience of Atomics is that they are not so stiff will suit a really wide spectrum of ability.

Can only see two real uses:

1) Breakable crust - probably still worth a miss
2) Separation (body-legs) - drills

Nice video, I just seem to be missing the helicopter to reach that powder. Guess will be sticking to a conventional touring setup.
Ski Holidays to Iran in 2018

Flying to Azerbaijan for skiing last year I flew directly over the Iranian Alps. Huge, stunningly beautiful and extend all way to Caspian. Has to be worth considering if you want a mixed holiday or reasonably priced change from Europe.
Thought about this last year when touring at end of season. Problem is to find cameraman who is fitter / more organized than rest of group so you are not waiting about. Would be pretty reluctant to waste a day with a guide by adding an unknown quantity to the group and this will be your challenge. I have images of someone turning up late and faffing about.

Be careful when you state 'knows the mountains', can see the law suit now for illegal guiding, avalanche incident etc.

Perhaps if an Aspirant was tagging along and could fly a drone it would be cool but otherwise am not convinced. Why not try and team up with a guide or guides in one resort and focus on videoing something like VBs. They act as your sales and admin team etc.
1st time season! Banff or Fernie?!

Main issue with Bannf is that slopes are so far away and the public transport is so poor. Depending on the type of work you get this might severely impact the amount of skiing you get done. No doubting is a great town but from a ski perspective it is more akin to living in Geneva and nipping to the slopes for the afternoon. Perfectly possible but a bit of a faff.

Where to ski early November

Assuming your from Europe, is a pretty big risk going to US in early November. At least in Europe you are guaranteed skiing which is not the case in Colorado or California as hey are typically non glaciated. Of course if you a gambler worst case you can divert to Vegas from the latter.
