One more sleep to go.. ! ! . . . .and still have to get young sons bag packed, get Euros from bank. Finish packing main case and start praying that we have some snow. Its March 30th and the snow in the Alps is fading...so please pray for a snowfall in this next week. We are going to partners place in Megeve, and if skiing there is limited we will drive round to Les Contamines, or even stretch to Chamonix as its higher ! :D

...also i tend to stretch at the end of the day so I am not stiff for the next days skiing.

My warm up is occassionaly a few back rotations in the chalet, but the basic warm up is walking up about 95 steps with ski boots on and carrying skis to the main cable car lift. Plus doing up ski boots gives a good hamstring stretch and lower back stretch.

2 more sleeps till we go. Flying to Geneva Thurs 31st March, and skiing (?) if snow available in Megeve, Les Contamines, and surrounding area. Last resort (excuse the pun) Chamonix. Partner has a car so can travel.
Any one any idea about snow reports in Haute Savoie region next few days? |

I have no idea myself about this info, but just wanted to send heart felt sympathies you may miss you ski trip....you must be gutted. So sorry !! :(

yes heathrow need to be far better equipped for the snow next winter to avoid all the flight cancellations...If Geneva, Zurich, Turin, Grenoble, Chambery etc etc, and all other places in Europe can get flights moving in the snow, then UK can get there act together.. When you think how much money people are spending on their flights........

Cool cool. Awwhh you little guy n the red aged what 4/5 yrs was cute and so relaxed. Good one ! Can see you really enjoy skiing.
