Well considering i injured it xmas week i think i have done ok.
It was just the fact that it was refusing to heal that made me seek proper advice. My dad had to have a joint replacement in his finger not so long back and it looks a mess.
Even though i knew there would be nothing they could do i'd rather be told that now than risk damaging it further.

Anyhow, the joint is just all banged up, they said only time will possibly heal it but it could be a year before it feels normal.
They have just come back to me and stated the are going to investigate further but did point out i would have full use of the pool while i waited and also explore the town.
Now it may just be me but after a long day traveling i just want to get into my room, unpack, relax and THEN go out and get a beer and food. The pool is simply not on my agenda for my first hour in resort.

It's a lovely afternoon but I'm in A&E.
After falling on the sarenne, ADH, I think I broke my finger. It's getting steadily worse so as I'm off work I thought I would get it seen to

Val d'Isere 12/13 - one down, one to go!!

Barney, I've never skied Les Arcs before, I stayed la plagne side before. But I've heard good things about the whole area so I am plenty excited about going.
We chose to stay in 1800 as it seems to have the most to offer in après and also best placed for tree lined skiing, which I love.
I will definatley do the Aguile Rouge, it's well written about.

I think you are right about espace Killy, there were day trips run to Tignes from La Plagne. But if there is one thing I hate it's mountain bus journeys so I think it's unlikely to see me there. Thanks for the offer though, I'm sure before long we will end up
In the same resort.
