Well, I plan to be in Knoxville, hiking with friends, on Saturday. I wonder what "wise decision" Pavel has forseen?? Apparently, he does read minds! :)

Mike, I am just wondering if maybe you are going too far into the "intangible" territory? For example: The dimensions of any given female are concrete - they are not open to interpretation. :) A cars horsepower cannot be interpreted any other way. I don't know much about fishing, but if a pole has a certain "whip potential" it is a solid number. I am thinking we are way off the track. Why would we "engrave" a number into our skis that we would want to change next week? I, obviously, don't know Pavel as well as you, so maybe I am way off here. . .

I can't even take time right now to read all your stuff! I just can't wait to see this number!! Ellistine, I live in Maryland, but the Mason-Dixon line runs through our property, so, PA isn't far. :) Oh, and don't worry about me switching to boarding. :) Skiing is much more fun FOR ME! |

No, I am not signed up for any board courses. That is one thing I found a little unusual - I only boarded twice this year, yet Pavel made a point of mentioning it. I wonder why???? I doubt if my resort will even have any snow in November. I will probably be signing up as a mountain host again this year so I can ski free, but I don't know what else I will be doing! Dreaming about the first cold snap? Some of the issues I was having on the board were: needing to initiate turns with my body, FALLING (a lot!), lack of trust, not able to keep my weight forward. I was thinking about buying a board. . . But Pavel would have to have read my mind to know that! ;) Maybe I will try to put a list together. |

Hey Mike,
You might add to that our synergy with our skis. For example, right now I have Volkl Supersport S4's. I feel that they are a very good match for my current ability. They "push" me a little bit, I have to improve to really make them work. Whereas, if I had the Mutix's being discussed, they would be way beyond my current ability. I would end up doing circles on the way down! :D Admittedly, I would something a little quicker every now and then, but the first time I used my Volkl's I had some painful lessons about getting too far back. :) And Ellistine, you better not be giving up!! Haha. |

"What happens in November?" Well, this year I will be counting down the days until it gets cold enough to make snow! Of course, here in America we will have Thanksgiving. ;) I see much greater minds than mine at work here. :) |
