Oh dear BB - your poor wife does sound in quite a bad way
The only good thing about it is, as I said before, if she gets a medical certificate you should be able to claim back on the insurance for the lift pass etc. - maybe you could sneak another ski holiday in when she's feeling better?

I hope they fix her up OK and she makes a quick recovery :)

Snapzzz - trying to get your own back on whoever gave you the cold/man flu in the first place? Look after yourself and don't over do it. I reckon you have to ski more slowly and on easier slopes when you're not feeling that well, because I find my sense of balance and judgement suffers.

Oh no, about the 'flu

I hope you all make a quick recovery! It's really sickening to be in a ski resort and not be able to ski/board, especially after paying so much money to get there, and looking forward to it for so long ...

If it looks like they won't be able to ski for ages maybe you should get a medical certificate and try claiming some money back on the insurance.

I've got a nasty cold myself at the moment, but I'm hoping I'll be totally recovered by the 13th :)

I'm sorry to hear about that - how unfortunate

I hope it gets better soon and it's not hurting too much, and welcome to the forum :D
Andy - do you want the money in euros or pounds :?:
Hi BB, thanks for letting us know, and I'm glad you're having such a great time :)

And I'd just like to point out to everyone else reading this, that BB isn't staying in the same chalet we're going to in Les Brevieres, he's in another Bonjour chalet in Val d'Isere - same ski area though :)

Bonjour have several chalets. I'm staying in another one of theirs in Les Brevieres, Soli, on 3rd March for a week with some friends - for another ski holiday :D
Bonjour have sent me an e-mail to say there are THREE rooms still available in the chalet during our week, out of a total of 15 rooms. At the moment our group are the only guests booked into the chalet for Sunday 13th January, apart from the father of one of the chalet staff.

And Sinbad 14/Paul has decided to share the triple room with Tiger 7 :)

So - there is still plenty of room if anyone else wants to come with us :)

But Bonjour don't do last minute discounts so they'd have to pay the normal price.
Happy New Year to all of you!
