I did read that the first time, but I just thought you were trying to insult someone :wink:

I thought KISS was a proper acronym for something - like kinaesthetics, inclination, stand up, and shout (when you're lost!) :D

So who is the stupid one, the instructor or the pupil?

I must say, I think keeping it simple is a good idea. I can't remember more than about 3 things when I'm trying out something new, and they have to be simple things, like keep your shins forward, lean downhill, and keep your arms in the steering wheel position.

Its for the instructor not the pupil!!! My trainer said it to me on a course and its always struck me as the best way to do it.

As you say nobody can be expected to remember all the things instructors sometimes throw at the class. Angulation, inclination, rebound, stance and balance, pivoting, pressure control etc.

If I find myself getting too technical - I think KISS!!!!

That's quite true Pablo, but finding out what I want to know through the 'banter' on this website is much more amusing than reading pages of facts on Wikipedia, or whatever :lol:
