Newbie to the forum saying hello

I am also guilty of leaving it late to start, 10 years ago and I'm now 42. Wish I had done it years ago, but now making up for lost time and trying to go 3 times a season.

Welcome to the forum. You have clearly caught the bug badly doing 3 or 4 weeks per year since you started. You will be in good company with lots of other addicts on here.

La Plagne and St Anton are both great, but very different, resorts so you should have a great season. Enjoy!!!

Thhanks for the continued warm welcomes. Catching the ski bug is certainly what happened to me, I think what happened with me which is probably pretty common is that I always fancied giving it a go but none of my family were so we did the more standard sunny beach holiday, and unless you've got someone to give you that early introduction to skiing then you don't really get into it until a bit later in life.

Tend to pick the resort best suited to the group travelling so le plagne seemed to be a good fit for beginners and intermediates, while in st anton I'll be a novice compared to most of the others going.

Try the itinerary routes in St Anton, esp red 12. Brilliant fun.
