Mittens

I have some Hestra Mittens, I jam handwarmers into them. toasty warm.

The forecast for this weekend is -25c (thanks Polar Vortex), I'll be using the above strategy for my cold fingers.

"Cold feet" will be more of an issue in more ways than one.

Wow those Hestra Power gloves are expensive!! And yes feet are also becoming an issue too...gotta love getting old

You can find less expensive mitts that are just as warm. Although the Hestras do fit me quite nicely.

So update , yesterday was -25 at the beginning of the day. Felt warmer because of the sun. Hands were fine , I thought my feet were going to explode .

Today , ambient temp at the bottom of the mountain was -33. Because I'm not an idiot , I had a nice breakfast and went home .
