Recommendation for 2013 ...Italy???

After my accommodation disaster this year I am going back to the drawing board in relation to resort, accommodation type and travel options.

Need to break from the Easyjet, car hire, self catering in 3v, killy, pds. Feel like I need a change. But still europe as the old man wont go across the water :(

quite right about the planes...MUCH preferred the train I am even looking at Snow express coaches how about a Salzburgerland pass a bit further but lots of places to ski on the same pass..really got to do it by car though

Incorrect. Lech consistently has the most snow in the Alps.
