I have a pair of Dakine, cost about £40 4 years ago. Still great condition & I dont have a elf to carry my skis :D

I am sure there is a plethora of gloves out there that will suit without going down the bike route? You wearing a motorcycle lid too? :)

Now that I like Icy ....... "a plethora of gloves"

I usually buy gloves based on their quality and warmth, and when they're in a sale.

I would like a 2nd pair of white leather ones, but thats just being greedy and vain.

Yep, I cant see any I like.

Comfort does come into it.

Not overly bothered about warmth because I dont feel the cold.

I have a set of Burton mitts, think they cost me £40-£50 but by god they are good. Really warm and they have a zip on the back which can be opened as an air vent for hot days or you can insert hand warmers for cold ones. Plus they came with stretch inner gloves which stop the mitt from smelling of sweat and make it loads easier to do things like adjusting the volume on your ipod or taking a sweet out of your pocket whilst on the lift ;)

They have been used loads over the last few years and the only thing wrong with them is a small ice burn.
