Is that what you call a trolley volley :)
Done it - good luck.

No, heart attack is carrying 2 ski bags & 2 suitcases through Chambery airport with wife & kids. Just out of interest what area of ski carriage do you consider needs addressing?

Well fair point, think we had a big debate on this last year. Is it fair for someone who is 18 st & takes 20kg on board to pay no excess but someone who is 12 st & takes 23kg on board is charged for excess baggage, er No. Is it fair to pay 10 Euro's per extra Kg but only 30 Euro's for a ski bag weighing 30kg, Er No. Then again is it fair to pay 300 Euro's in tax for a return flight to the US, again No. This is indeed a awful system & your point are truly valid, my point was there was no need for the comment relating to a post requesting help to complete a Uni project.

Yeah ok, but if someones thought about a project for uni regarding improving life for skiers with ski bags then my point was they've overlooked a more relevant issue as mentioned. Like I said I completed it for them anyway. Chill ;-)

I had an e-mail from Edge to Edge the other day, and apparently they're now doing door to door collection and delivery of ski gear from the U.K. (as skis2you.com) to the popular French resorts. I can't remember the exact cost, but it was something very reasonable, like £60 return.

Theres a company who collect your skis from home and deliver them to your hotel for £15, but only in certain French resorts, mainly 3V I believe. Great if you want to ski there, but I don't think I'll be using them.
I understand they collect a number of ski bags and then take one vehicle over packed with them. Good idea IMO. Can someone start doing it in other resorts please?

the idea is to design a similar thing to a golf trolley but only lighter, and not as bulky, so will fold and put into the ski bag, and often when i hand in my ski bags in they are very rarely checked for weight (nevewr been checked) so the issue wth ski carriage is not really an issue. thanks all for filling in.
