Can't believe we have spent the past months checking and praying for as much snow as possible in our respective ski resorts but are now having to check snow levels in the UK so we can actually get to our resorts. Fingers crossed for no snow at Luton on Sunday.

I'm loving the snow here but hope it doesn't stop anyone from actually going skiing.

No snow at Stansted at present.
Although I'm working in Piccadilly all day tomorrow and am just going to check out a few hotels - just in case.

You'll never know, unless you try...

In kings langley at the mo it is snowing lightly but persistant. About 1cm has settled in the last hour and a half.

We have about an inch, which all settled in about half an hour. We're not exactly snowed in, but I don't much fancy trying to drive out, because we have steep hills in both directions, and I hear there is a car upside down blocking one of our steep local lanes.

That's a lot of snow! I hope you have plenty of food in the house or a shop within easy walking distance. Our nearest small shop is 2 miles away, and Tesco's etc. is about 5 miles away - a very long walk!
