They did on ours, on the last day of lessons, to get prizes. Funnily enough I could'nt attend that day.

That sounds like fun, Rose :D
It's a shame you had to miss it.

Did you ever get any other slalom lessons?

Ally

Ally, I dont think anyone has had slalom lessons. I have had a crack at a couple of slalom courses, but never been taught how to do it properly. I dont see why, as Pabs says, when there are far more important disciplines to learn. Like not falling over.

No, never slalom lessons and only had lessons on first holiday. From time to time we have a private lesson if there is some-thing we need to improve. Most of our lessons have been Xcountry or boarding.

Isn't it time you stopped taking lessons Ally, and tried to enjoy yourself skiing?

I don't necessarily agree with you Tony, I have had lessons up to a level just above where I am at now (kinda gone backwards a little now but I think it has been made up for in confidence). As I have improved so has my enjoyment of skiing, intensive lessons now = a future of skiing at a high level.

GPWM. But I think thats quite different to going away for a weeks holiday once maybe twice a year and going into lessons with a bunch of dweebs and a pissed instructor. Banter.
