Glad to hear you had a good time, a gold medal and a black run at the end of your first week - You must be a natural! :D

Sounds like you had a great time .. even doing a black run on your first week. Something I didn't achieve.
Safe to say you've been bitten by the bug !
Have the same type of problems with my missus sometimes ... if it's snowing or lousy visibilty she's not keen on going up ... I, on the other hand, love it!
We have had at least 18 inches of snow in the last 2 days ... shame Denmark is so flat.

I'll have to fess up G that it wasn't my very first time, i went in 1995 for a week on a school trip, so i could snow plow and turn with it very quickly this time, our ski school group had all had some experience even if it was just on a dry slope, so it allowed us to progress pretty quickly....another thing that i think hindered my wifes enjoyment sometimes was seeing my group motoring on ahead and further up the mountain while her group were stuck on the baby slopes..as i said though once she got going with it she was happpier.
you got a set of those cross country type skis for the snow over there?
i saw a guy in them hiking his way up a steep black...madness i thought...just get the lift liek everyone else!! :D
