Tino, I'd love to be reading your blog but I have enough trouble keeping up with the wibble on this forum
There aren't enough hours in the day...

Tino, Unlike Ally I have too much time on my hands at the moment and I have read your blog. I am looking forward to the next entry (if that's what you call it?)even though it is making me so jealous. I have a few trips booked and I am now bursting with excitement.

Do you have a plan of of where you are going throughout the season or are you taking things as they come?

Updated )

I have no specific plan further than my next trip ususally, but a calender is not a bad idea!!

I bet you are excited where you off to first?

Saalbach Hinterglemm for me next weekend (for a week) and it looks like they will have some snow after all.

Les Menuires first (over New Year). ADH for 5 days 2nd week Jan and then back there for 2nd week in Feb. I'm hoping to do something in March if all goes to plan. I'm feeling almost fit enough now, but Saturday night should be the test...going to see Soulwax/2 many DJ's so 9pm-3am dancing should get me in tip top shape for the skiing and even more in the mood for the Apres!!! Lol

We need a thread "Tino's blog" Bandit, please attend to it. Otherwise the knowledge and wisdom will be scattered on different threads, and of course we will be fred drifting other threads.

Tino, from your Engleberg element on the blog:

1. Glacier skiing/snowboarding is very different to proper mountain. WHY?
2. I am nowhere near as good as I thought I was. WHY?
3. I simply do not know when to stop. I think we knew that. :)4. Powder hurts less than piste.
5. Powder is a ***** on a board when you fall. It's sh*t on skis too.6. Skiers have it easy off-piste compared to boarders. B.....ks7. I need to learn to ski, and then........ Thats a great idea.
8. I need to buy a split board :) They are called: - "Skis"

Dave Mac, Tino is inching his way towards 2 planks. We should embrace his sense of adventure, and work on conversion :D In the meantime, here's a Split Board :D

Like you, I want to know why he thinks powder is ***** on a board when you fall. I'd always thought hillfrogs had it cushy in the soft stuff, with a nice wide platform????
