Tony,
Well, at least I managed it in the end - how about a 'well done' message.

I can now post photos as well, but I'm still stuck on doing the U-tubes. I can do the link, but not get the video on the page. Pablo told me how to do it, but it still didn't work, and I didn't like to appear really, really stupid so I didn't dare ask him again.

I imagine one can use the Youtube button on the posting page, but I have no idea how :(.

Pick the youtube video you want to embed.

Copy the link from the address bar at the top of the Youtube page.

Go to reply to the thread you want to post the video on.

Click the 'youtube' button which is to the right of the 'list' button you discovered earlier.

Paste the link in.

Click the 'youtube' button again.

Add any comment you want to beneath that.

Hit preview.

Post.

Thanks Tony,
I can do most things on here now. I haven't tried posting a webcam yet, though, so I don't think I can do that, and I don't know what those other buttons do - 'code' 'google' 'flash' or 'WMV'.

The other thing that bugs me is that I'm not sure which smiley means what - like what does a red tongue symbolize? The other website I used to go on told you which smiley meant what, when you hovered the cursor over it. And I also think, if you're very clever, you can import smileys from elsewhere.

It's a great pity I don't apply myself nearly as much as this when I'm trying to sort out our accounts for the taxman :roll:
