Heading back from 4 days in Val Thorens. The first few days were frustrating, lots of snowfall but zero visibility and high winds. But what a day today was.
Today was one of the best ski days we have ever enjoyed. New terrain was opened progressively throughout the day in areas that had not been skied since the 3 day powder dump. We had fresh tracks in powder all morning and a couple of amazing, long, untracked deep powder runs off the portette lift.
To have skiing like this in in December was an unusual treat.
How was Verbier, Val d'isere etc...? I expect the same?

Something to talk about before the skiing started and more "gripping" than N, H, B & G

Plus a feeling of camaraderie as one realises that other (perjorative term of choice) are dancing at the same time.
And I've never played with video editting before and it was great fun doing a vid with sound etc.
