Hi all,

Me and a friend are thinking of going to Bulgaria skiing for a quick week but just wondered if anyone has recently been there just so i know what the conditions are like. Just so i know what to expect!
I am so desperate to go!

Cheers
Jon

I wouldn't recommend Borovets that late in the season. Snow record isn't great.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I will just give it a miss this season as most places I look at are touch and go. Think I will have to go to the chill factore.

I really do want to get away at the end of the season but somewhere that's cheap and guaranteed snow. I know that's asking a lot haha.

Mid-March is a great time to go; snow should be good just about everywhere and it's not peak time so there will be some good deals about as long as you're a little flexible.

Hold your nerve and wait until the week before; then check the snow situation and look for a deal - I'd put money on your having a choice of deals around 50% off full price if you do that.

Cheers admin. That does sound like good advice but I am trying to think of a place where snow fall would be good. I did hear that eastern Europe had a dump of snow this week which is promising especially as Bansko is 2500m high. Any other places you could recommend?
