Hello all,
I have been trying to arrange for a group of friends to go skiing or snowboarding for ages. Although it started out as 10 now its down to 2 including myself and even the other person looks doubtful. So I am thinking of going solo.
Anyways my question is I am trying to find a good cheap get away for a week for a single skier in the middle of march (as i cant wait till the next ski season to go away) to any resort in Europe that doesnt include a huge single persons suppliment and wonders if anyone has any advice on where to find one.
Cheers
Jon

Look at the Neilson Forum. There is a single skiers area. You may find there are some like minded people who would be willing to join You. Last Year I had the same problem ...10 down to 2 ...tried a subject on the forum and ended up taking 20 odd!!
Carving leaves me all on edge

Thats rubbish mate... such a shame. I hope you find something soon and have a great time. On a more positive note as least you can do as you please and only have yourself to cater for... see it as a positive and go exploring.

Cheers Bald-Eagleman, i will give Neilson a try. Just been onto their website and found a deal to Autria that isnt too bad actually so we might be in luck! Thats great that you managed to go away with another 20 people. Something like that wouldnt bother me at all.
Cheers Crispyapplepie, it is pretty rubbish but like you said, atleast i can go off and do my own thing. As long as i have the iPod charged up full it wouldnt bother me haha

Cheers Kirbyrotter. Just had a look now and it seems pretty promising actually and seems to happen more often that i thought!
Although went into Thomas Cook today and they have some pretty good deals to Borovets that dont include any single persons supplement which is great.

Have a look at skibreaks.co - i think they have a solo's/singles catered chalet week in March.

Met a group from them skiing in Zell-am-See last week and it all appeared pretty well organised.
