Im thinking about going to Björklidens Fjällanläggningar in northern Sweden at the end of Feb. Does anybody have any links to accommodation, log cabins in the area please to stay for about a week.

Many Thanks

It must be fun telling your pals where you are heading! Did it take you long to perfect the pronunciation. As a name, its right up there with the Icelandic volcano that tortured newsreaders all over the world!!!

Sorry, can't help you with accommodation.

I would recommend you go to Sweden's largest skiresort Åre instead! Much nicer, easier to get to and a proper village - "Alpine style". Lots to do, lovely slopes, off-piste, cross country skiing, snow scooters, dog safari, great restaurants and apres-ski if you would want to etc. Go to the web site: www.skistar.com and choose Åre. You fly to Stockholm (ARN) and then Åre/östersund (OSD),after that it's only 1 hour transfer. There are also some direct flights from the UK, I think Manchester.
