Travelling to the above chalet in January - wondered if anyone had any experiences?

If you mean the one nr St Martin de Belleville then yes. Been there twice, in 2007 & 2008, wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Yes the one at St Martin de Belleville with Griff and Emma as hosts. Its currently avaiable on the mountainaction.net website.
How did the ski guiding work? Did it include all guests and take account of their ability?

Well we were 3 familes of roughly same ability ie confident blue/timid reds. We all went out together. I would say that to get most from break you need to be at least that minimum level. Best to ring Griff if you are worried and see if he knows the mix of any people who have already booked. It's best if whole chalet can go out together but trust Griff's experience and let him decide what's going to be best for everyone to get most from the day's skiing.
