Even though my hols were over in January i still used to look at the webcams with some jealousy.
Last night i took a look at Andorra to find grass...... :-(
But on the bright side i have one hol booked for jan and have already started buying stuff for that trip. I grabbed a £350 North Face jacket for £200, i am lining up my own boots for later in the year and Megan (my 9yo) is going to be taking lessons at Tamworth so we are all prepared for its return.
I think its going to be a long summer.
Sad that the snow has now gone / going......

Ian, We are off to La Plagne in Jan.....Counting the days already.
Brimster, i got the Jacket from Two Seasons. Its worth checking the website as they may have a few bargains left. Our local store didn't have my size but sourced it from another one for me.

I bought a lovely Helly Hansen fleece - 70% off - at McArthur Glen Bridgend a few weeks ago :D
Mind you, the original price was outrageous, something like £70, but at £20 it was quite reasonable.
I would have liked to have looked for a new ski jacket as well - but my daughter dragged me away, because she was shopping for a ball dress

It is sad to watch the snow retreat up the mountains.
I guess the Southern Hemisphere is a tad too far a week on the snow.
