Hi All
Just wondering if any of you are local to the Sierra Nevada and would fancy a day's skiing....
I am 60 with 30 weeks skiing to my credit and quite fast on skis..... I live about 90 mins drive from the Sierra.
Are there any other likeminded souls who fancy a day's skiing?
Favourite resort is Saalbach, been there 14 weeks..... fantastic apres ski....:-)
Please drop me a line if anyone interested..... from what I hear it gets mighty busy at weekends so a weekday would be best I guess....
Best
Graham

Hi
My dad has a place near Murcia and I have thought about making the trip to Sierra Nevada for some snowboarding. What is it like? And how long do you think the drive would be from Murcia (or more accurately half way between San Javier airport and Murcia)?
Many thanks

Hi
Thanks for your message.....
I don't what is is like for skiing yet I have not skied there....I have only lived here since June and I look out onto the Sierra Nevada every day....:-)
There is so much snow there at the moment though..... weekends are not to recommended as there tends to be traffic queues and not enough parking according to the local paper.
Drive from Murcia to Granad,a which is about 20 mins from skiing, would take around 3 hours.
Hope this helps....
Cheers
