Were finally on our way after a day of what can only be described as chaos. Set off today for Austria, planned route via overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam. Our journey across country was challenging because the trans pennine route was blocked with snow! Diversion ensued & after many hours driving we made it to Hull. Time to relax, then we noticed there was no ferry in the port, panic sets in for the second time in one day. Managed to swap onto another ferry after pleeding our case with the booking office staff so we are now aboard on route to Zeebrugge. Time to relax in the bar & recalculate our route down into Austria. I thought going on holiday was supposed to be fun.

Arriving is only half the fun, getting there is where the challenge and rewards lie.
Cliche book down, I'm off to have a blinding night in Saalbach.

I'm currently in Glasgow and planning a 6am departure to Cairngorm for a 1/2 day skiing, then travelling back to Teesside after lunch, it may be a good idea or it may be a very bad idea, but I'm sure it will be an adventure :P
How bad was the 66?
