Anyone got any ideas about getting from Turin to Val Cenis? Have found a couple of taxi firms, but its pretty expensive, just wondering of anyone used public transport to get there?

Cheers, Chris

I think after much research for a friend who is going to VC in April your cheapest option if you're a family is to hire a car. If you're a couple or single then the TGV from Turin to Modane followed by the shuttle bus to VC will be marginally cheaper.

Good luck.

Have you already booked the flights?

Cheers for the help guys. We booked our flights a month ago, theres 8 of us heading out on the 21st, cant wait! Just looked at the prices for the train, and looks like its not that much difference than getting a taxi. Tried to find a minibus to hire, but no luck there too.

Anyone been to Val Cenis before?

Can you please give me a bit more info about this. How much do they charge, do you need to have booked flights or accomodation with them etc.

Cheers :D
