Hotels in Obergurgl

Hello,
I have a question about hotels in Obergurgl.
The Hotel Olympia looks good, but I've heard it might be a bit of a trek from the centre of the resort to the hotel - especially for our 9 year old after a day's skiing.
Has any-one been to the Olympia, and if so, is it as far from the slopes as it seems?
