Alps cheep accommaodation + grate offpiste

I am looking for a nice destination in Alps for a trip in March, two key things are cheep accommodation and good back country for riding powder(forest).
Please help, it will be my first trip, will be thank full if some one give me address where he use to stay and is ok, will be trip for 2-3 guys so I am not looking for high standard.
