I'm glad you pointed this out, Finn. I hadn't looked for a few days.

So what to do?

The other question is where to change your money.

The Post Office is offering 1.17, same with Travelex, M&S are 1.15, so where are you getting 1.20 from?

Hope you are not going down the postal route again Finn!

It was a small independant cash place where we live. They have been 0.2€ above the post office rate for most of the year. Hand your cash over at the counter & you get your currency there & then.
One bitten twice shy, very careful these days Dave where I get my currency. 8)

Only reason I posted is we have seen the ex rate as low as 1.12€, whether your paying for a family of four or going as a single traveller every cent counts these days. Trying to gauge opinion whether folk think its better to wait or not.

1.20 is the forex rate. Given the heroic stand by Mr Cameron against the Franco/Germanic hubris I think it will head further north, so hang fire I say!!! :!:

I'm hanging on - they've not fixed the troubled economies and the UK's choice not to lend money it hasn't got may have upset some of the euro economies, who are doing what they can to avoid printing (Euros and seeing their own wealth devalued). Once Germany & France have converted their assets into £, $ Yen, SF etc they will print more Euros the Euro will devalue further but at least it won't cost so much to bail out Greece, Spain, Italy....
