Finally got my wife to come sking after having lessons. Off to Luchon Dec 16th to my mates appartment. No sign of any snow yet which is starting to worry me.

Looking at the piste map, this looks as though it should be a great place for her to gain confidence - shouldn't be too busy either? Hope you both enjoy yourselves anyway )

For a place to learn to ski its been great for me, my son and his mates can last year all dissappeared on red & blacks runs . They said its was good but only down side for the younger adults is that Luchon is a quite town with no loud pubs and clubs. Will take the wife and daughter just before xmas and if I can get her hooked then somewhere different next year

HI All,
"panic" too late .Starting to P***s me off that I can,t find out any info if theres any snow or are they making snow, web cams are a waste of time. Iphone app only shows no snow and no runs open but who knows when that was last up dated fully. Every one keeps saying plenty of time but its only 30 days before I set off and I,m driving there as my sister daughter who I,m taking (her first time also ) is to scared to fly. What to do ?
