I'm off for an all day lift pass today as I'm working (kind of) in Hatfield until 5.
If anyones going to be there by any chance, drop me a PM.

It was good. Not v busy so had room to try a few things. I skied 5.5 hours for £30, thats good value IMO.
I am not a fan of indoor slopes normally, but this served 3 purposes:
1 to get me skiing having booked a holiday
2 to check my fitness and knee having injured it last season, all ok, and I felt good having lost the weight
3 to demo some new skis. I tried some Nordica and Rossi piste skis, didnt like the Nordicas but the Rossi Zenith Z72's were ok, better weight. And I tried some twinnies and have to say I loved the Salomon Suspetcs with rocker, they were great fun, very fast, and I want a pair!!!
All in all a good day. Even got chatting to a couple of people, always nice to share experiences.

Sounds good Tony, I must get myself up there before too long. Was that a special price or the going rate for 5.5 hours?

I quite fancy going there for a mogul lesson - £36 for 2 hours from 7-30 p.m. to 9-30 on 5th and 12th October. But I'd like an hour or so first to warm up and get used to their skis and the slope.
